Tetra was founded in 2025 to address a fundamental problem in behavioral health: high-acuity providers deliver clinically intensive care, yet many still rely on fragmented, manual administrative processes that make it harder to admit the right patients, coordinate care, manage reimbursement, and operate efficiently. Across admissions, utilization management, revenue cycle, and discharge, teams are forced to work across EHRs, portals, spreadsheets, fax, phone, and other disconnected systems, creating friction at every handoff and contributing to lost revenue, staff burnout, and gaps in care continuity. Tetra is building a behavioral health operations platform designed specifically for these environments, with the goal of helping providers modernize the workflows that general-purpose healthcare software was never built to handle. Rather than displace core systems, Tetra is designed to sit on top of the existing stack, connecting data across systems and using AI to automate the repetitive, detail-heavy subprocesses that consume operational teams. Its platform is intended to support the full behavioral health patient journey, including admissions and intake, insurance and utilization workflows, revenue cycle operations, and discharge coordination, all through a shared data layer with human oversight built in. Over time, Tetra aims to evolve from workflow automation into a more comprehensive operating layer for high-acuity behavioral health providers, replacing point solutions with purpose-built software that improves speed, coordination, reimbursement capture, and ultimately the quality of patient care.
